Principle Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Provide excellent internal and external customer service and support the activities of the field sales team in order to meet and exceed sales targets. Generate business leads and follow up on sales opportunities using various digital marketing strategis. Take and process orders, including all administrative activity, producing associated documentation, invoicing, advising on delivery dates, etc. Act as the liaison between the field sales team and internal departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and within agreed deadlines e.g. production department in relation to stock levels, delivery times, advising on service level agreements. Assist the sales team in producing tenders, proposals and quotations. Assist with travel arrangements and organising meeting and exhibition facilities. Carry out general sales administration support such as filing, dealing with customer queries by phone or email. Provide excellent customer service in conjunction with field sales to ensure that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner i.e. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports. Ensure the CRM and finance systems are fully utilised and kept up to date with all sales activity including logging of leads and following up on requests for quotations. Assist with the preparation of any documentation required when goods are dispatched to customers, e.g. export documentation. Participate in all identified training and development activity including the Sales Academy.Customer focused with a passion to provide excellent customer service at all times.
