Thecandidate will work under the guidance of senior hardware engineers and actively participate in the complete hardwaredevelopment lifecycle-from requirement analysis, circuit design, schematic creation, component selection, PCB layout review,prototype bring-up, debugging, testing, validation, and documentation. The ideal candidate should possess a strongunderstanding of analog and digital electronics, schematic design, PCB design principles, and hardware debugging techniques.Key Responsibilities Designing analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits, preferably high-speed designs. Develop and maintain hardware schematics using Altium Designer (or equivalent PCB CAD tools). Support complete PCB design activities, including component placement, layout review, routing review, and manufacturingconsiderations. Perform component selection based on electrical specifications, availability, cost, and reliability. Prepare circuit calculations, design documentation, BOMs, engineering change notes, and technical reports. Design and Review schematics and PCB layouts for electrical correctness and manufacturability. Participate in prototype assembly, board bring-up, hardware debugging, and validation. Perform functional testing and design verification using laboratory equipment. Analyse circuit failures and support root cause analysis (RCA). Verify signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC design practices. Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Test) activities. Ensure compliance with company design standards and engineering documentation practices.Key Technical Skills Good understanding of Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal, and Power Electronics. Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design fundamentals. Experience with schematic design using Altium Designer (preferred) or similar PCB CAD tools. Basic understanding of multilayer PCB design concepts. Knowledge of PCB stack-up, component placement, routing, grounding, power planes, and decoupling techniques. Understanding of high-speed PCB design fundamentals, differential pair routing, impedance matching, and signal integrity. Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly requirements. Familiarity with PCB design guidelines including DFM, DFA, and DFT. Understanding of hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, LIN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and GPIO. Knowledge of microcontrollers, processors, memories, power supplies, clock circuits, and peripheral interfaces. Ability to read and interpret component datasheets and reference designs. Familiarity with hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters, function generators, and DC powersupplies. Understanding of hardware validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of ESD, EMI/EMC, protection circuits, and hardware reliability concepts. Familiarity with BOM preparation, component lifecycle management, and engineering documentation. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills.
