Prepare SOPs, WI, QAP and ITP for complete blasting and painting process. Propose painting scheme as per customers requirements of corrosion protection. Monitor surface preparation, painting process. Aware of how to do paint patch work (at paint damage portion) which will aesthetically also looks good. Monitoring inspection of all tests from surface preparation to post painting. Aware of air less painting. Analysis of painting rejection and rework and CAPA for the same. Monitoring of shelf life of primer and paints. Qualification of new paint cycles. Train painters for good quality painting and work efficiency. Handling of TPI. Exposure to 7 tank pre treatment, powder coating, fire proof coating is preferred. Development and auditing of Painting and Powder coating vendors. Carry out kaizen projects for cost reduction and better work efficiency.
