- Proactively identify, research and contact potential customers (businesses, retail showrooms, commercial building owners, EV-charging station developers) for Tata EV chargers.- Use outbound calls, emails, social media and physical visits to initiate contact with decision-makers.- Maintain and update a database/CRM with prospective leads, follow-ups and outcomes.- Understand the prospects business, needs, current EV-charging infrastructure or plan, budget and decision-making timeline.- Present the Tata EV charger product line (features, benefits, warranties, service support) in a compelling way, tailored to the prospects scenario (e.g., installer, showroom, residential complex, commercial building).- Prepare and provide customised quotations, proposals or demonstration arrangements.- Drive the sales process from initial contact through to closure: setting appointments, negotiating terms, securing orders.- Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, technical support, supply/warehouse (for tiles & sanitary and now the EV charger business) to coordinate lead hand-off, product availability, installation timelines, after-sales support.- Provide market feedback: competitor offerings, pricing, customer objections, opportunities for new product features or service improvements.- Generate referrals and repeat business by maintaining a high standard of customer experience.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Tata EV charger product line, EV-charging industry trends/regulations (e.g., incentives, subsidies, government policies), and the tiles/sanitary business to create cross-selling opportunities.- Attend relevant trade shows, events, builder-meetings, EV-industry networking sessions to build contacts and brand awareness.
