As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the organizations network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex networking issues, work closely with other IT staff to ensure network stability and performance, and provide assistance to end-users regarding connectivity and access issues. This role is critical in ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and optimized to meet business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the organizations networks to identify issues and potential areas of improvement. Regularly perform system health checks, backups, and diagnostics.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues related to connectivity, hardware failures, and performance bottlenecks. Ensure minimal downtime and prompt resolution.Network Configuration and Support: Configure, test, and deploy network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.Network Security: Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures. Monitor for potential threats and vulnerabilities, working closely with the IT security team.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures. Create incident reports and maintain logs.User Support: Provide technical support for internal users regarding connectivity issues, access requests, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with IT Teams: Work with other IT staff on projects, upgrades, and troubleshooting that involve network resources. Assist in network design and upgrades as needed.RequirementsEducational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certification.Experience: 0 - 2 years of experience in network support.
