Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft holds safely and efficiently.Operate baggage handling equipment such as belt loaders, trolleys, baggage carts, dollies, and conveyor belts.Sort and tag baggage according to flight numbers and destinations.Ensure accurate loading sequence to maintain aircraft weight balance and safety standards.Transport baggage between aircraft and terminal using tugs or baggage carts.Handle special, fragile, or priority baggage carefully as per airline guidelines.Identify, report, and assist in resolving issues related to damaged, delayed, or lost baggage.Follow all aviation security and safety protocols in accordance with airport and airline regulations.Assist in maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety in baggage handling areas.Communicate and coordinate with ramp agents, flight crews, and ground operations staff to ensure on-time aircraft departures.Adhere to company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and performance standards.
