Position OverviewThe LoadingUnloading Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the movement, handling, loading, and unloading of goods, materials, or cargo at warehouses, transport hubs, or worksites. The role ensures safe, accurate, and efficient operations by managing manpower, coordinating with transport teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Operational ManagementSupervise and coordinate loading and unloading of trucks, containers, or cargo vehicles.Plan daily operations to ensure smooth flow of inbound and outbound materials.Verify shipment details, quantities, and documentation before and after loading/unloading.Monitor proper stacking, weight distribution, and securing of goods to prevent damage.Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods as per schedule.Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams for efficient movement. Team SupervisionAssign tasks and guide loading/unloading staff, forklift operators, and helpers.Monitor performance and ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.Train staff in safe material handling and efficient loading techniques.Maintain discipline, punctuality, and productivity among workers.
