The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Import-Export Operations:o Coordinate and manage the import-export process, including documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and logistics.o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for international trade.o Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.o Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers to optimize the transportation and distribution process.Sales and Marketing:o Develop and implement strategies to promote import-export services and expand the customer base.o Identify potential clients and markets for import-export opportunities.o Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.o Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.o Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and increase brand awareness.Market Research and Analysis:o Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the import-export industry.o Analyse market data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.o Provide insights and recommendations to management for business development and strategic planning.
