we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an import-export executive with a focus on sales and marketing. this role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of import-export procedures, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers. the ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

key responsibilities:

import-export operations:

o coordinate and manage the import-export process, including documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and logistics.

o ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for international trade.

o monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

o collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers to optimize the transportation and distribution process.

sales and marketing:

o develop and implement strategies to promote import-export services and expand the customer base.

o identify potential clients and markets for import-export opportunities.

o build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.

o prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.

o attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and increase brand awareness.

market research and analysis:

o conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the import-export industry.

o analyse market data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

o provide insights and recommendations to management for business development and strategic planning.
