About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Manager to manage our wholesale and retail business of fertilizers and biostimulants. The role focuses on purchasing products, developing sales, managing stock, maintaining supplier and customer relationships, and ensuring timely payment collections.Key Responsibilities Identify reliable suppliers, obtain quotations and negotiate purchase prices, payment terms and delivery schedules. Plan purchases based on seasonal demand, stock availability and sales requirements. Develop wholesale and retail sales through dealers, distributors, agricultural shops and farmers. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Generate new enquiries, conduct market visits and achieve agreed sales targets. Prepare quotations and manage customer orders, pricing and discounts within approved limits. Coordinate billing, transportation, deliveries and customer returns. Monitor stock levels, product expiry dates and slow-moving inventory. Manage customer credit within company-approved limits, follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections. Address customer enquiries and complaints, and provide product information based on approved labels and company guidance. Maintain accurate purchase, sales, stock and payment records. Track competitor pricing, market demand and new business opportunities. Submit regular reports on purchases, sales, margins, collections and outstanding balances.Candidate Requirements Preferably 3-5 years of experience in fertilizer, biostimulant or agricultural input sales and purchasing. Good understanding of the agricultural input market and seasonal crop demand. Strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills. Experience handling wholesale and retail customers, supplier coordination and payment collections. Basic knowledge of Excel and billing or inventory software. Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi; basic English preferred. Willingness to travel locally for customer visits and business development.
