Job Description

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery

capabilities.

2. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the

company.

3. Review technical specifications and requirements to identify suitable materials and

components for purchase.

4. Generate purchase orders, manage order placement, and track order status to ensure

timely delivery of materials and equipment.

5. Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and minimize

excess or obsolete inventory.

6. Resolve supplier issues, disputes, and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

7. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed to

maintain quality standards.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to

inform procurement decisions.

9. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information in the

procurement system.
