The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the production process to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining high quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and deadlines.Supervise and lead production teams, including machine operators, carpenters, and assembly workers.Ensure effective use of resources (raw materials, machinery, manpower) to maximize output and minimize waste.Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials (timber, hardware, etc.).Implement and enforce safety and quality control standards throughout the production line.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.Maintain accurate production reports, downtime logs, and performance metrics.Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.Liaise with design, maintenance, and logistics teams for smooth operational flow.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field.15+ years of experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in wood or cable drum industry.Strong knowledge of wood processing, assembly techniques, and quality standards.Proven leadership and team management skills.Familiarity with production planning software/tools and lean manufacturing principles.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of timber grading, drying, and preservation techniques.Experience with ISO standards and safety audits.Understanding of CNC wood machinery (if applicable).
