Job Description

Production Management

Plan, organize, and direct daily manufacturing operations.

Ensure production schedules are achieved according to customer delivery commitments.

Monitor plant performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and material flow.

Quality Assurance

nsure compliance with railway industry quality standards and customer specifications.

Lead quality improvement programs to reduce defects and rework.

Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams on inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

Maintain compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, IRIS, and customer-specific requirements.

Safety & Environmental Compliance

Promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.

Maintenance & Asset Management

Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.

Coordinate major equipment repairs, upgrades, and capital projects.

Monitor plant utilities and infrastructure performance.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Collaborate with procurement, stores, and logistics teams.

Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

Optimize inventory levels and reduce material waste.

Support supplier performance improvement initiatives.

Workforce Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and departmental managers.

Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning.

Foster employee engagement and teamwork.
