Job SummaryGround Staff are responsible for ensuring smooth airport operations, assisting passengers, managing baggage, and coordinating with various airport departments. They play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety and efficiency at the airport.Key Responsibilities1. Passenger AssistanceAssist passengers at check-in counters and provide boarding assistance.Guide passengers regarding flight timings, boarding gates, delays, and travel documentation.Handle special assistance for senior citizens, unaccompanied minors, and differently-abled passengers.2. Ticketing & ReservationsManage booking, re-booking, cancellations, and modifications.Issue boarding passes and check travel documents.Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records.3. Baggage HandlingAssist passengers with baggage drop, tagging, and weight check.Coordinate with baggage loading/unloading teams.Register and resolve lost, damaged, or delayed baggage cases.4. Airport OperationsManage boarding gates and make public announcements.Ensure smooth flow of passengers during boarding and deplaning.Coordinate with pilots, cabin crew, security staff, and ramp teams.Support aircraft turnaround operations and maintain on-time performance.5.
