Job DescriptionThe Lighting Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling lighting products to clients. They provide technical expertise and guidance to help clients choose the right lighting solutions to meet their needs. Lighting Sales Engineers build and maintain relationships with clients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell lighting products to clients.Understand client needs and provide technical expertise to recommend appropriate lighting solutions.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and targets.Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs.Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes to clients.Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of lighting products.Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.Stay updated on lighting industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.

Set out and implement the strategy to drive business in the assigned market/ territory. Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve company objectives for company products. Identify potential clients and build a robust sales pipeline. Develop relationships with new clients and draw action plans to maximize new business opportunities. Perform periodic business reviews with clients and identify their needs.Interact with the internal teams for implementation feasibility of new / modified needs. Present companys new products and services to present and potential clients. Collaborate with Projects/ Implementation and relevant teams to drive customer satisfaction and address escalations. Ensure periodic updating and data accuracy of the companys sales management system. Keep up to date with recent market & pharma industry trends, competitors, leading customers strategies so as to achieve effective results. Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities. Keep abreast with the market needs, trends and communicate the same to the management. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Represents company at trade exhibitions / events. Sales analytics prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Participation in periodic management review meetings.

Using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customers' concerns.Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.Delivering demonstrations to ensure that customers are educated on safe and effective equipment use.Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements.Monitoring inventory and reordering materials when needed.Conducting research and attending workshops to remain abreast of industry developments.Writing reports and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors regularly.
