Job Summary:The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of medical professionals. This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring progress, maintaining medical records, and ensuring that all nursing activities comply with hospital standards and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities: Patient CareProvide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and maintaining personal hygiene.Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician.Monitor patient symptoms and reactions to treatments, and report any significant changes to the doctor.Assist in feeding, bathing, dressing, and other daily activities of patients when required.Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families. Clinical & Technical DutiesPrepare and maintain patient charts, records, and reports accurately.Perform wound dressing, catheterization, and IV insertion.Maintain and operate medical equipment (oxygen cylinders, ECG machines, suction units, etc.).Follow infection control and sterilization protocols strictly.Assist doctors during examinations, minor surgeries, and medical procedures.Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, and dispatch to laboratories.
