Clear communication skills are essential, as the guard needs to interact with employees and visitors. Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures will be an advantage. Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work independently are vital traits for this role. The guard should be physically fit, as the job requires walking and standing for extended periods. Experience in security is not essential but can be beneficial.
