Position Title : Shift in-charge Reporting to : Territory Manager About the Position : Stores Development Manager is responsible to mentor a list of assigned stores in a particular locality and drive core initiatives of Team Management, Inventory Management, Indent preparation, Visual Merchandising, Space Management, Resource Optimization, Customer Service and General Administration. Key Responsibilities: o Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results. o Communicate specific product needs to managers to ensure the store is stocked appropriately with in-demand products and customer requests. o Maintains store staff by mentoring, recruiting, orienting and training employees. o Ensure performance standards, discipline & grooming standards are maintained. o Supervise availability of Baskets & bags, billing rolls, covers. Study audit report and inform upfront on the required indent. o Develop a Back Up plans in case of emergencies. Ensure Quick Check Out. Ensure proper Parking management. Develop a positive image of the store in the vicinity. Plan for festivals & season. Identify & discuss opportunities for better space management. o Manage the returns of the stock and ensure availability of other products and maintain relationship with approved vendors. o Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers
