The DGM Commercial is responsible for overseeing the commercial/contractual & purchase aspects of the company. The role involves managing the negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of contracts with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, also ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, and industry standards. The role requires strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as extensive experience in contract management, commercial strategy, and risk mitigation. Roles and Responsibilities1. Bulk procurement keeps costs and quality as key parameters.2. Good Knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, project management and financial analysis of Sugar Industry is must.3. Be a subject matter expert on procurement / commercial and provide insights about dynamics of Sugar industry and Sugar procurement both in the domestic and international markets.4. Should lead resource entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring availability of supplies to all the Plants in bulk at optimum cost keeping in mind quality requirements.5. The incumbent will be expected to forecast / provide insights on Sugar Industry.6. Should be able to deal with commercials from the perspective of LCs and Banking Operations7. Should understand and be able to procure materials through e-auction, e-commerce, and e-bidding routes also.8.
