Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare authentic Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, and dumplings, following established recipes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.- Menu Development: Assist in creating and updating the menu with new and innovative Chinese recipes that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure kitchen equipment is in good working order to provide a safe and efficient work environment.- Ingredient Sourcing: Select and order fresh ingredients and supplies, ensuring quality and freshness, which are crucial for making authentic Chinese cuisine.- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours.Required Skills and Expectations:The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 9 years of experience in Chinese cuisine. A strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques and flavor profiles is essential. Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods will be important for this position.
