Development of a competent and reliable vendor base to meet GPL business objectives.Maximize existing supplier performance.Achieve cost saving targets, strong delivery performance and high quality of products using QCD (Quality ,cost, delivery) tools to vendor.Raw material knowledge, part weight calculation, Cost breakdown and benchmarks to challenge supplier to provide best quality products at an optimal pricingSupplier cost negotiations skill to improve commercial term, supplier chain performance to mitigate the risk in delivery.Ensure on-time delivery of parts.Work with supplier and quality team to ensure zero defects.Knowledge of turning parts, metal casting, metal forging, sheet metal process.Preparation of RFQ, PO submission to supplier.Procurement of the brass parts as per the timelines committed.Co-ordinate for product related quarries with purchase & QA ( Jamnagar & H.O.)Co-ordinate for dispatching the H.O.& sub vendors items e.g. Holder parts, GPL tech partGuiding the suppliers / vendors for improving their processesCo-ordinate for product related quarries with purchase & QA ( Jamnagar & H.O.)Guiding the suppliers / vendors for improving their processesCosting of All Brass Parts on excel sheetNew vendor development.New product Devolvement.
