Major Duties & Responsibilities - Plan and coordinate production engineering processes on daily basis to produce high quality products.Monitoring of Production Planning sheet, Machine Monitoring Sheets, coiling machine status, Tool register, PPE requirement, Plating & Pressing outsourced work, Stress reliving/ Grinding/ Brightening Stock Inventory, SPC charts, First Off Approval records, Traveler Card, IPQC status, Code of Conduct at work, Quality management System, Employee records & other correspondences.Analysis of Job Order received, Drawing/ sample verification, Over Time performance, Machine maintenance & break down records, Scrap generated, Machine Speed Increase, Machine Downtime measurement.Improvise delivery performance like Improvising OEE, Machine speed, Reduction in down time, capacity utilization.Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.Study the raw material details from job order & arrange for raw material by giving raw material request to store through production head.Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account.Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required.Maintain statistical and financial records.Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout.Remove waste from the processes.Implementing 5S , Kaizen, Pokayoke in the organization.Carry out FMEAs, (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) process documentation and implement improvements.Keep up with current and developing engineering trends.Undertake special projects as required.Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
