Job descriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesCommunicating with Projects Head & other department personnel regularly, to assess purchase needs.New vendor development, maintaining vendor records & vendor selection (obtaining ations, negotiations & preparing vendor comparison statements).PO management - Generating POs where required, tracking PO performance & maintaining purchase records.Communicating with Projects to confirm product delivery, installation & quality check.Approving vendor bills and processing vendor payments.

Job Role:Shall be responsible for developing a strong vendor base which is capable of providing seamless deliveries, least cost of procurement and best quality.1. Shall be responsible for assessment and development of vendors as per the VD guidelines.a. Shall be responsible for assessment of all the vendors as per the VD guidelines.b. Shall be responsible for development of new/alternate vendors to get right material from authorized vendor/manufacturer on time with best price.c. Shall be responsible for vendor consolidation and maintaining master vendor2. Shall be responsible for de-risking the BOM and BOM cost reduction on a continual basis.a. Shall be responsible for de- risking of critical raw material.b. Shall be responsible for BOM cost reduction for all the products.3. Shall be responsible for executing new project DVT's along with development of the vendors within time frame of the project.a. Shall be responsible for arranging samples during EVT stage of the new product.b. Shall be responsible for arranging complete kit for DVT execution of the product and shall develop tools, jigs, fixtures etc. for all the parts.c. Shall be responsible in analysing the long lead items and place the PO for in advance during DVT stage.d. Shall support purchase team in PVT lot procurement wherever required4.
