Reporting to the Chairman of the group, the General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall running of the organization including operations, logistics, sales and purchases. 2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and maintain strong relationships with all manufacturers3. Establish a process for inventory management at the retail counter and warehouse to ensure continuous supply without overstocking and timely delivery of products to customers 4. Ensure automation of the supply chain management to drive efficiencies and gain visibility. 5. Work closely with the sales team in identifying opportunities, meeting the right people in the field, and establishing connections that the sales team can take forward 6. Cascade monthly targets to the sales representatives, and monitor the performance of all staff regularly. 7. Understand updates in the market and the industry, identify opportunities for product development and business development Requirements: 1. Over 7 years experience in purchases, supply chain management, and logistics for a trading company 2. Over 5 years experience in running an organization and managing different functions and teams. 3. Ability to do field work along with the sales representatives and should be open to meeting people and can close deals. 4. Should have worked in North Kerala (either in Kozhikode or Kannur)5. Preference for someone from the pharma or surgical trading industry 6. Should be fluent in Malayalam
