The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing a wide variety of dishes with a focus on Maharashtrian delicacies, sweets, and baked goods, while maintaining top standards in taste, quality, and hygiene.---Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of cuisines including Maharashtrian, North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Continental.Specialize in desserts and bakery items, including traditional Indian sweets like Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Pedas, Modaks, Halwa, Cakes, and Pastries.Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency.Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food preparation planning.Innovate new seasonal dishes, sweets, and baked recipes.Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and compliance with food safety standards.Guide and assist junior kitchen staff as needed.Monitor portion control, minimize wastage, and maintain food cost efficiency.---Requirements: Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a hotel or restaurant setup. Expertise in Indian, Maharashtrian cuisine, and dessert/bakery preparation. Skilled in baking and sweet preparation (modaks, cakes, halwa, etc.). Knowledge of food hygiene, storage standards, and safety regulations. Strong teamwork, leadership, and kitchen management skills.
