Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and compassionate Child & Parent Counsellor to provide counselling services to students, parents, and families. The counsellor will support the emotional, social, behavioural, and academic well-being of children and adolescents, guide parents on effective parenting strategies, and contribute to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual counselling sessions with students and parents- Assess emotional, behavioural, social, and academic concerns and develop appropriate intervention plans- Support students with challenges such as stress, anxiety, behavioural issues, self-esteem, and peer relationships- Provide parent counselling and guidance on child development, behaviour management, and emotional well-being- Develop and implement counselling programs and workshops- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring strict confidentiality and adherence to ethical standardsRequirements:- Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or related field- Verified Registered RCI- Relevant certification (e.g., LPC, LSW, NCDA)- Experience working with children, adolescents or women- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills- Ability to build trust and rapport with students and parentsPreferred Qualifications- Experience working in a school or educational setting- Strong knowledge of child development and adolescent psychology- Familiarity with international curricula and culturally diverse environments- Training or certification in child psychology, family therapy, or behavioural therapy
