Job Description:An Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business by promoting and selling insurance products to prospective clients. They are expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, assess their insurance needs, and provide appropriate coverage options to meet those needs. The Insurance Sales Representative will work closely with the underwriting team to provide accurate and timely quotes, and follow up with clients to close sales.Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets. Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through cold calling, referrals, and networking. Conduct needs assessments to determine clients insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options. Educate clients about insurance products and services, explaining coverage details and policy provisions. Provide accurate and timely quotes to clients, and follow up to close sales. Work collaboratively with the underwriting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the companys database. Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques. Resolve client complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Prepare reports on sales activities, including leads, sales, and follow-up activities.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other sales tools. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
