Job SummaryAn Air Hostess (also known as Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant) is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of passengers during flights. The role includes providing excellent customer service, handling in-flight emergencies, and representing the airline professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome passengers on board and assist with seating arrangementsConduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate safety proceduresEnsure compliance with aviation safety rules and regulationsServe food, beverages, and in-flight services to passengersAssist passengers with special needs (children, elderly, disabled)Handle passenger queries, complaints, and emergencies calmlyProvide first aid and emergency assistance when requiredMaintain cleanliness and order in the aircraft cabinCoordinate with pilots and fellow cabin crew membersEnsure proper landing procedures and passenger disembarkationEligibility Criteria (Typical)Minimum qualification: 10+2 (any stream)Age: Usually 1827 years (varies by airline)Height & arm reach: As per airline standardsGood eyesight (correctable vision accepted by most airlines)Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi (additional languages are a plus)Pleasant personality with customer-service orientationSkills RequiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer service and problem-solving abilitiesCalmness under pressure and emergency situationsTeamwork and adaptabilityProfessional grooming and etiquetteWork EnvironmentIrregular working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysDomestic and international travel opportunitiesFast-paced and customer-focused environmentSalary Freshers: 30,000 60,000 per monthExperienced crew: 80,000+ per monthAdditional benefits: Free/discounted air travel, layover allowances, insurance
