Key Responsibilities:Documentation Management:Prepare and review import documentation, including but not limited to invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.Ensure accuracy and completeness of all import-related paperwork.Coordinate with various departments to collect necessary information for documentation.Regulatory Compliance:Stay updated on import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance.Work closely with customs officials and brokers to address any compliance issues promptly.Communication and Coordination:Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to obtain required documentation.Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the timely clearance of goods through customs.Record Keeping:Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all import documentation.Develop and implement efficient document filing and retrieval systems.Problem Resolution:Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to import documentation.Work proactively to prevent delays in customs clearance or shipment.Qualifications:Any Graduate Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in import documentation and customs clearance procedures.Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and trade compliance.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using Excel
