This is a critical leadership role responsible for production targets, yield improvement, cost management, and team development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProduction & Operations- Own and deliver monthly/quarterly production targets across all laminate grades- Drive yield improvement programs and reduce scrap/rework across the press, treater, and slitting lines- Monitor cost-per-sheet and identify levers to reduce manufacturing cost without compromising quality- Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floorProcess & Equipment Oversight- Oversee operation of hydraulic multi-daylight presses, treater lines, and thermal systems- Ensure optimal functioning of oil heaters, boilers, and associated thermal infrastructure- Drive a culture of preventive maintenance - reduce unplanned downtime and improve OEE- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to manage planned shutdowns and upgradesPeople & Cross-Functional Leadership- Lead production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams across shifts- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and develop frontline supervisors and engineers- Coordinate with procurement for raw material planning (resin, glass fabric, copper foil)- Work with sales and quality on customer complaints, NCRs, and corrective actionsCompliance & Safety- Ensure adherence to factory safety norms, environmental regulations, and statutory compliance- Maintain all plant records, daily production logs, and MIS reports for management reviewCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience- 3-10+ years of experience in CCL, PCB, composites, or laminates manufacturing- Proven track record of managing multi-line production facilities- Prior experience in a plant leadership or operations head role preferredTechnical Knowledge- Working knowledge of hydraulic press systems and hot press lamination cycles- Understanding of thermal energy systems - oil heaters, boilers, heat exchangers- Familiarity with resin systems (epoxy, FR-4), impregnation, and curing processes- Exposure to quality parameters: peel strength, Tg, Dk/Df, thermal stressEducation- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, or Production Engineering- MBA or PG Diploma in Operations Management is an added advantageCritical Requirement: Must have hands-on experience managing a hot press production line in a CCL / laminates environment.REPORTING & LOCATIONReports To CEO / Managing DirectorLocation Plant Site, IndiaTeam Size 30-100+ (depending on phase)

1. Planning and execution of Corrective / Breakdown Maintenance for all Mechanical Equipment, Electrical Equipment as well as civil work.2. Preparing & approval of annual maintenance, utility budget & monitoring monthly variance. To ensure proper maintenance and Up-Keeping of all the plants.3. Planning & execution of Annual Shut Down maintenance within approved target.4. Operation and maintenance of Utility equipments. To introduce and implement cost cutting measures.5. To ensure proper discipline and administrative control. To be responsible for all the resources and administrative activity in and out of maintenance.6. To motivate, train and counsel the subordinates and the manpower.7. Analysis of Breakdown occurs & eliminates/ minimizes causes / effect.8 To ensure proper supply chain for maintenance with the essence to contribute to the control of working capital by proper inventory control. Planning & Approval taken for allocation of Funds for Equipment replacement, modification / Capital Investment.9 Ensure on the uninterrupted support to all the production units.10 Prepare execution modification of projects as per Process requirement. Generating monthly MIS report related maintenance activity Study, check feasibility of Energy Conservation Scheme & implement.11 To take all steps to ensure Safety of the Manpower along with equipment and products. To ensure control against any theft, pilferage, damage etc., to maintain all standards of ISO 14001, ISO 9001-2008.12 Vendor development, negotiations & performance monitoring
