Mechanical Design Engineer (Male)

A Mechanical Design Engineer designs, develops, and tests mechanical systems and products (like robotics, tools, appliances) using physics & engineering, creating CAD models, prototypes, and technical docs, ensuring functionality, performance, and manufacturability from concept to production, involving research, calculations, and collaboration with manufacturing teams. Key tasks include problem-solving, CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Inventor), design validation, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development: Create new mechanical designs and modify existing ones for improved efficiency or performance, from concept to physical product.

CAD & Documentation: Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications.

Analysis & Testing: Perform simulations, conduct tests, and analyze feasibility/performance of designs.

Prototyping: Oversee the creation and testing of physical prototypes.

Technical Support: Provide guidance to manufacturing, maintenance, and installation teams, writing operational manuals.

Project Management: Manage technical aspects of projects, meeting timelines and objectives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

CAD Software: Proficiency in tools like SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia, AutoCAD.

Engineering Principles: Strong grasp of mechanical/thermal principles, physics, and design calculations.

Problem-Solving & Analysis: Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.

Technical Skills: Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and project management.
