LAB Executive (8-11 Years)

The Lab Executive / Product Development Assistant will support product development activities through formulation preparation, laboratory trials, documentation, and material management. The role involves handling cosmetic ingredients, laboratory equipment, and manufacturing instruments while coordinating trial batches, test reports, and material movement between departments. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare routine product formulations and assist with product development trials.

Handle cosmetic colours, oils, silicones, solvents, gums, thickeners, and other ingredients.

Operate and maintain laboratory tools, instruments, and manufacturing equipment.

Conduct scale-up trial batch activities as per project requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation related to product development trials and laboratory activities.

Coordinate testing activities and follow up on test reports.

Manage laboratory material stores and coordinate material movement between departments.

Ensure laboratory activities are completed according to project priorities and timelines.

Monitor progress and communicate updates, delays, issues, and bottlenecks to the concerned teams.

Maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project plans and expected outcomes are achieved.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Matriculation or Bachelor's degree in the Science stream.

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.

Female candidate required, preferably between 28 and 35 years of age.

Well-versed in laboratory and manufacturing equipment and instruments.

Practical experience in formulation preparation, ingredient handling, and scale-up trials.

Ability to coordinate testing activities and maintain technical documentation.

Strong understanding of laboratory safety and secure working practices.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to understand project priorities and complete tasks within deadlines.

Proactive, punctual, consistent, and collaborative approach.

Willingness to work on-site, Monday to Saturday, 8 hours per day.
