Job SummaryThe Fire & Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing fire safety measures, identifying hazards, enforcing safety standards, and leading emergency response procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesFire Safety Management:Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies, procedures, and standards.Conduct regular inspections of fire alarms, hydrants, extinguishers, sprinklers, emergency exits, and safety systems.Ensure proper maintenance of firefighting equipment and coordinate with vendors for servicing and certification.Safety Compliance & Inspection:Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and hazard identification (HAZID) across workplace areas.Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001, and local statutory regulations.Maintain documentation of safety compliance reports, audit findings, incident logs, and safety records.Emergency Preparedness & Response:Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and Evacuation Plans.Lead emergency drills, fire drills, and evacuation training to prepare staff for real emergencies.Serve as the first responder during incidents, coordinate rescue operations, and manage emergency communication.Training & Awareness:Conduct safety training, toolbox talks (TBT), and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.Promote a strong safety culture through safety campaigns, posters, and workshops.Incident Management & Investigation:Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes.Prepare incident reports, recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor implementation.Operational Safety Support:Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk jobs (hot work, confined space, working at height).Assist teams in safe operational procedures for construction, industrial, manufacturing, or facility management.Coordinate with HSE, maintenance, HR, and management to resolve safety concerns. Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, prevention techniques, and firefighting operations.Familiarity with PPE standards, hazard control measures, and safety signage.Knowledge of safety audits such as HIRA, JSA/JHA, and risk-based safety practices.Understanding of electrical, chemical, mechanical, and industrial safety procedures.Knowledge of relevant standards: OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001, and local fire safety codes.Soft Skills:Leadership and quick decision-making during emergencies.Strong communication and people management skills.High alertness, observation, and problem-solving abilities.Training, presentation, and documentation/report writing skills. Job Summary:The Civil Engineer Aviation Projects is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising the construction and maintenance of airport infrastructure such as runways, taxiways, aprons, terminal buildings, and support facilities. This role ensures that all civil engineering works comply with national and international aviation standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements. The engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable airport infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities: 1. Airport Design & PlanningParticipate in the design, layout, and development of airside (runways, taxiways, aprons) and landside (roads, terminals, parking) infrastructure.Prepare engineering drawings, design reports, and technical specifications.Conduct feasibility studies and assist in the preparation of airport master plans.Ensure design compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA, and DGCA standards. 2. Construction Supervision & Site ManagementOversee the execution of civil works at airport construction sites.Supervise contractors, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule targets.Conduct inspections and verify materials, workmanship, and testing procedures.Manage and resolve site-level issues, variations, and technical queries.Maintain as-built documentation and project progress reports. 3. Pavement Design & MaintenanceDesign flexible and rigid pavements for runways and taxiways using FAARFIELD, COMFAA, or equivalent tools.Analyze aircraft load data and subgrade conditions for pavement design optimization.Develop pavement maintenance and rehabilitation plans based on performance evaluations. 4. Drainage, Utilities & Environmental ComplianceDesign stormwater drainage systems, culverts, and airfield grading layouts.Coordinate with MEP teams for utility planning (water, power, sewer, communication).Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations (EIA, noise, and waste management). 5.
