Job Description:Your responsibilities will continue to include but are not limited to:Vendor evaluation and procurement for electrical transmission and rural electrification materials (ST & HT lines, transformers, conductors, etc.)Managing purchase orders and contracts as per project timelinesEnsuring cost-effective procurement without compromising on qualityCoordinating with project, accounts, and logistics teams for timely material deliveryMaintaining procurement records and compliance documentation

Develops a purchasing strategy. Reviews and processes purchase orders. Manages other members of the purchasing team. Maintains records of goods ordered and received. Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers. Builds and maintains relationships with vendors. Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts. Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price. Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders. Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services. Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs. Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise. Keeps up with trends in procurement. Travels to vendor locations. Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.

1. To check supplier documents as per Govt Authority requirements for export & Import.2. To guide to supplier to prepare the documents if any deviation.3. To prepare checklist as per provided documents by supplier with correct HS code as per actual commodity.4. After approval from concern team from supplier, file Shipping bill / Bill of Entry to customs through EDI.5. To check to customs error message received for documents if any and need to clarify to customers accordingly.6. Shipping bill / Bill of Entry final print share to customers.
