Job Summary:The Civil Engineer Aviation Projects is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising the construction and maintenance of airport infrastructure such as runways, taxiways, aprons, terminal buildings, and support facilities. This role ensures that all civil engineering works comply with national and international aviation standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements. The engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable airport infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities: 1. Airport Design & PlanningParticipate in the design, layout, and development of airside (runways, taxiways, aprons) and landside (roads, terminals, parking) infrastructure.Prepare engineering drawings, design reports, and technical specifications.Conduct feasibility studies and assist in the preparation of airport master plans.Ensure design compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA, and DGCA standards. 2. Construction Supervision & Site ManagementOversee the execution of civil works at airport construction sites.Supervise contractors, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule targets.Conduct inspections and verify materials, workmanship, and testing procedures.Manage and resolve site-level issues, variations, and technical queries.Maintain as-built documentation and project progress reports. 3. Pavement Design & MaintenanceDesign flexible and rigid pavements for runways and taxiways using FAARFIELD, COMFAA, or equivalent tools.Analyze aircraft load data and subgrade conditions for pavement design optimization.Develop pavement maintenance and rehabilitation plans based on performance evaluations. 4. Drainage, Utilities & Environmental ComplianceDesign stormwater drainage systems, culverts, and airfield grading layouts.Coordinate with MEP teams for utility planning (water, power, sewer, communication).Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations (EIA, noise, and waste management). 5.
