Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead HR operations at our manufacturing/factory facility. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Factory and Safety Laws, Payroll management, ISO certifications, and end-to-end HR processes. He will act as the key liaison between management and employees, fostering legal compliance and a secure, efficient workplace.
�� Key Responsibilities
1. Labour & Factory Compliance
Interpret and implement the Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Labour Welfare Act, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Gratuity Act, and Standing Orders.
Coordinate with authorities to obtain and renew statutory licenses (Factory, Trade, Fire & Safety, Contract Labour, Environment)
Maintain statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, bonus, minimum wages, gratuity, etc.
2. Health, Safety & ISO Standards
Develop and enforce health & safety programs aligned with ISO / / 9001.
Conduct risk assessments, safety training, fire drills, and maintain emergency preparedness.
Ensure availability and upkeep of safety equipment (. fire extinguishers).
3. Payroll & Compensation
Manage end-to-end payroll: timesheets, biometric data, contractor wage verification, statutory deductions (tax, benefit, insurance).
Design and administer incentive and bonus schemes.
Oversee compensation benchmarking and benefits programs.
4. Recruitment, Onboarding & HR Operations
Lead recruitment for factory and admin roles; handle selection, onboarding, training, and exit procedures.
Implement/update HR policies, SOPs, and ensure awareness among staff.
Maintain HRIS records, attendance, leave, grievance logs, performance evaluations, and HR metrics.
5. Employee Relations & Performance Management
Address grievances, mediate disputes, and manage disciplinary procedures.
Run regular performance appraisals (quarterly/annual/360�), and develop staff training and L&D initiatives.
6. Policy & Strategic HR Support
Formulate HR strategies to align with business goals.
Guide and mentor junior HR staff.
Generate HR reports on turnover, attendance, payroll trends, compliance audits, etc.
