Candidates with Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering and with min 6 to 8 years experience as Tendering / Estimation Engineer. Must be able to prepare and submit Tenders on time, make estimation for Projects. Candidates with previous Tendering exp for Govt. or semi Govt projects will have an advantage. Must have experience in tendering /estimation of Residential, commercial and infra projects.

Review tender documents thoroughly, understanding the client's requirements. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work. Rate analysis of Tender items & Extra items. Responsible for project overall activities operating from the project site including commercial activities of Billing/ Contractor Bills/ measurements. Designing, Calculation of Cable Size, UPS, DG, Transformer Size etc. Planning, Coordination for execution of Work as per design and work Schedule. Attending Meeting for Tender / Kick off / Site Progress meeting. Billing of Work executed and attending commercial Meeting. Preparation of Final Handover Documents and Layouts.

Job descriptionEstimation Engineer should have the knowledge to estimate HT, LT, Panel, DG Transformer, Point wiring, cable tray, earthing, Light fixture, Lighting arrester, UPS Inverter etc.Study / Review of Tender Documents, Scope of work, Drawings, BOQ, Specifications Client requirement etc. from the tender documents for proper estimation works.Prepare & send RFQ for all the items to all the approved equal suppliers /sub- Contractors to obtain the required quotation.Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications and BOQ.Pricing material and labour cost of each BOQ item in the price comparison Sheets, by using the quotations and pre-determined manpower production rates.Follow up with the supplier /sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify to all their queries and meetings with suppliers / sub-contractor when required.Attend pretender meeting and site visits.Technical Evaluation of supplier/ sub-contractor quotations as per tender requirements.Checking all the addons and communications received from the client, ensuring that all Items are being clarified and considered in the pricing & follow up with the clients.Determining the amount of labour required to complete each project.Determining the potential profitability of electrical projects to assist management in making sound bidding decisions.Providing viable solutions to increase project profitability.Completing and submitting competitive project bids in accordance with established guidelines.Knowledge of AutoCAD is Must.Fluency in EnglishThe applicants are required to have a Diploma/bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
