Job Description: Co-Curricular CoordinatorJob Title: Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) Coordinator Reports To: PrincipalOverview The Co-Curricular Coordinator designs, manages, and evaluates the institutions co-curricular and extracurricular programs. The primary goal is to foster holistic student development by integrating sports, creative arts, leadership initiatives, and cultural events into the academic calendar. Key Responsibilities 1. Planning & Calendar Management Annual Activity Schedule: Develop and maintain the annual co-curricular calendar to ensure balanced distribution of events across the academic year without conflicting with major exams. Program Alignment: Work with academic heads to ensure non-academic activities complement the core learning curriculum. 2. Event Execution & Management Major Events: Organize intra- and inter-school events, such as Sports Day, Annual Day, cultural festivals, exhibitions, and debate competitions. Field Trips & Excursions: Coordinate logistical details for educational visits, field trips, and overnight camps, ensuring safety compliance and parental consent. Clubs & Societies: Oversee student-run and teacher-led clubs (e.g., Robotics, Music, Eco-Club, Drama). 3. Resource & Staff Coordination Teacher Allocation: Assign faculty members as club advisors, activity leads, or event supervisors.External Trainers: Hire, coordinate, and supervise external coaches, instructors, or guest vendors for specialized activities. Budget & Equipment: Manage the annual activity budget and oversee the procurement, maintenance, and inventory of sport and event equipment. 4. Student Engagement & Record Keeping Student Participation: Track student attendance and performance across activities to encourage broad participation. Talent Identification: Help identify promising student talent in sports, arts, or academics for external competitions.
