- Contacting customers who have overdue payments: As a Collection Officer, you will be responsible for reaching out to customers who have failed to make payments on time in order to collect the outstanding balance. - Negotiating payment plans: You will need to establish payment plans with customers who are unable to pay the full amount at once, in order to ensure that payments are made in a timely manner. - Following up on payment arrangements: It will be your responsibility to follow up with customers to ensure that they are sticking to the agreed-upon payment arrangements and to address any issues that may arise. - Maintaining accurate records: You will need to keep detailed records of all communications with customers, including payment arrangements, promises to pay, and any other relevant information. - Resolving customer inquiries: As a Collection Officer, you will also need to address any questions or concerns that customers may have regarding their outstanding balances, in order to facilitate the collection process.
