Sales and Marketing Manager Responsibilities: Executing all field level activities relating to promotion and sale of Pesticides Marketed by the company Scheduling and sustaining the development expenditure with the budget Employing & technically training Field Assistants & Technical officers at right places for effective utilization and technical guidance Managing sales & branding activities such as sales communication to media as well as participation & presentation in different exhibition and seminars for company Justifying the appointment of new dealers and strengthen the network where ever necessary as per work instructions Handling full activity of agro business development and coordinating with sales Responding to customer complaints In-charge Agronomist of the complaints. Providing quantitative and qualitative market information / intelligence report to the controlling authorities on matters like competitors activities, movement in crop produce prices, changes in cropping pattern, agronomical developments, new irrigation projects Maintaining good liaison with local Government agencies, Cooperatives, Agricultural Research centers etc, for assimilating information on latest developments. Providing reliable feedback to the reporting authority in validating the credit worthiness and credit rating of dealers Introducing improvements in business strategies based on customer feedback Introduction of new product promotion activities like field demonstrations and farmers training programs and spot demos Preserved database of progressive farmers. Represents the Dealership in the sale of agriculture equipment to customers in a defined sales area Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts Knows and follows a defined sales process Maintains and reports all Ag customer activities and trends in assigned territory to sales management
