job summary:
we are seeking an experienced and motivated sales manager to lead and expand our global trade operations. the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international markets, export-import regulations, and b2b global sales strategies. you will be responsible for identifying potential markets, building buyer-supplier relationships, and closing high-value deals across borders.
key responsibilities:
develop and execute sales strategies for global markets (uae, africa, se asia, europe, etc.)
identify and onboard international buyers and suppliers for agri/industrial/processed goods
achieve export-import revenue targets with focus on volume, margin, and market penetration
negotiate cif/fob/exw deals and manage incoterms with precision
collaborate with logistics, documentation, and finance teams for smooth order execution
attend global trade shows, b2b expos, and virtual buyer-seller meets
provide regular market intelligence on price trends, competition, and trade regulations
build and maintain strong client relationships and resolve conflicts diplomatically
key skills:
strong knowledge of global trade practices, exim documentation, incoterms, and logistics
proven ability to close high-ticket international b2b deals
excellent negotiation, communication, and intercultural skills
proficiency in tools like ms excel, crm software, and export portals (dgft, icegate, etc.)
familiarity with trade finance, lc handling, and international payment terms
qualifications:
bachelor’s degree in international business / marketing / commerce (mba preferred)
minimum 5 years of experience in export-import, global trade, or international sales
languages: english is mandatory; knowledge of arabic/french/spanish is a plus
