key responsibilities

understand staffing needs: partner with hiring managers to determine their specific staffing requirements.

create job descriptions: write compelling and accurate job descriptions to attract qualified applicants.

source candidates: utilize job boards, social media, professional networks (like linkedin), and referrals to find potential candidates.

screen & interview candidates: review resumes, conduct initial phone or video interviews, and assess candidates for skills and cultural fit.

coordinate interviews: schedule and manage follow-up interviews with the hiring team.

manage candidate data: maintain candidate records and manage the application process within an applicant tracking system (ats).

extend offers & onboard: communicate job offers, manage negotiations, and support the new hire onboarding process.

analyze metrics: track and analyze hiring metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, to improve recruitment strategies.

build employer brand: contribute to initiatives that enhance the company's employer brand.

essential skills

communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers.

organization & time management: the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and candidates simultaneously.

technical proficiency: knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ats) and other recruitment software and tools.

assessment skills: proficiency in interviewing and candidate evaluation techniques to find the best talent.

collaboration: strong ability to work closely with hiring managers and other team members.
