Responsibilities:1. Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners2. Type in data provided directly from customers or other parties3. Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes4. Verify data by comparing it to source documents5. Update existing data6. Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested7. Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
