The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, explaining course details, and helping them make informed decisions about their career path.Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel prospective students and provide guidance on available courses and career opportunities.Understand students needs and recommend suitable training programs.Handle inquiries through calls, walk-ins, emails, and social media.Maintain records of student interactions and follow-ups.Assist students throughout the admission process.Coordinate with trainers and the placement team for student progress.Conduct orientation sessions and provide continuous student support.Achieve admission targets and contribute to overall growth of the institute.Required SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good counselling and convincing ability.Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, emails, etc.).Ability to handle multiple students and queries professionally.Positive attitude and problem-solving skills.QualificationsBachelors degree in any discipline (Psychology / Education preferred).Experience in counselling, education, or training industry is preferred.Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.Experience03 years of experience in counselling, admissions, or student support.

As an Academic Counsellor, your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to students on academic matters. You will work closely with students to help them navigate their academic journey, and assist them in achieving their educational goals. Some of the key duties you may be expected to perform include:1) Advising students on academic requirements, course selection, and degree programs2) Providing guidance on study skills, time management, and academic success strategies3) Monitoring students' academic progress and making recommendations for improvement4) Identifying and addressing academic or personal issues that may be impacting students' performance5) Collaborating with faculty, staff, and other academic support services to ensure students have access to necessary resources6) Assisting students in navigating the university's policies and procedures7) Providing referrals to other support services as needed8) Participating in the development and delivery of workshops and programs designed to enhance students' academic success.To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds, and a deep understanding of academic programs and requirements. You should also be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with faculty and staff members, to provide comprehensive support to students. A background in counselling, student services, or a related field, as well as knowledge of student development theory and practices, will be an added advantage.

Catering to students need and interest for further studies thereby aiding in the course selection process to ensure progress towards student goals through various channels such as telephonic / online or face to face career & admission counselling. Understand Student Psychology and motivate the students to take admission to progressive and professional degree level courses. Discussing career and educational goals with students so that they are clear on the concept of taking up the profession graduate level course Talk to their parents and decision makers regarding the financials, student loan, scholarship etc. Should possess a sales & marketing mentality while counselling students and should be able to close the deal where the interest of the students as well as college is taken into consideration.
