Job Summary:A Nursery Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. They help young learners develop foundational skills in language, motor coordination, social interaction, and early numeracy through play-based learning and structured activities.Key Responsibilities:Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities.Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment.Encourage children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.Observe and assess each child's progress and maintain records.Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development.Maintain classroom hygiene and ensure children's safety.Support children in developing basic life skills such as toileting, dressing, and eating.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff.Required Skills and Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.Prior experience in a preschool or nursery setting (preferred).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.Understanding of child development principles and learning styles.Desirable Traits:Empathetic and approachable personality.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to handle children with diverse learning needs.Enthusiastic and energetic teaching style.
