They create assembly instructions, select tools and machinery, resolve shop-floor issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards Process Design: Build and refine work instructions, routing sheets, and assembly steps for cable harnesses.Tooling & Equipment: Choose, test, and buy crimping machines, soldering tools, and custom assembly fixtures.Quality Control: Enforce quality steps, fix defects, and audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical drawings.Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methods to cut waste and speed up assembly lines.Cross-Functional Support: Work with design, procurement, and testing teams to launch new products.
