Assistant Manager Procurement Job Vacancies in Haryana

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Purchase to support procurement activities for raw materials, components, tooling, and services related to plastic injection molding and painted plastic parts. The ideal candidate should have experience in vendor development, cost negotiations, and supply chain coordination within the automotive industry.1. Source and procure raw materials (resins, pigments, paints) and components.2. Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance.3. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts.4. Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules.5. Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams for procurement planning.6. Maintain accurate purchase records and reports.7. 5+ years of relevant experience in automotive plastic components procurement.8. Knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding processes, and paint applications.

1. Floats enquiries to perspective bidders with detailed terms and conditions and expected delays2. Prepares response analysis from data and past experiences, if any3. Negotiates for any deviations from the contract4. Assists in final negotiations with vendors5. Prepares the final cost / price comparative and cost sheet. 6. Coordination with all the concerned departments on regular basis7. Issues PO to the vendor8. Follows up with vendor on regular basis.9. Informs Accounts department to application of appropriate clauses in the contract onto deviations, if any10. Coordinates with Projects department for their requirements at various project sites.11. Analyzes quotes from outsourcing agencies for maintenance of some sites and awards the contract to the agency offering most competitive prices.12. Prepares database of equipment suppliers for various application area projects.13. Fairly good understanding of taxation structures in various sourcing destinations14. Cost modelling from past data bank15. Technical/ Commercial ability, evaluation of offers at the first level.16. Knowledge about manufacturing range & QR of vendors17. Managing vendor relationship at senior level.

Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers. Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods andservices. Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements. Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving onprocurement costs. Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and thesupply of goods.
