Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team in your assigned work location. Making strategy to achieve sales targets through the sales team. Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets. Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.

To create new distributors and achieve regional sales target, develop and execute area sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets .Lead,motivate,and coach a team of sales representatives.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for primary and secondary target achievement of the assigned territory. Handle General Trade & Modern Trade for Personal Care/Food & Snacks/Dairy/Beverages categories. Adept at identifying and developing key clients for business excellence and accomplishment of targets.Responsibilities -- Primary and secondary target achievement of the area- Monthly Sales planning and forecasting, taking into account the shelf life- Channel Management- Cost Management- Month wise business forecasting,bench marking the previous year- Data & aligning with the Annual Operating Plan- Competition tracking & making proactive plans to counter the new entrants- Allocate manpower in different areas depending upon the individual capabilities- Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales - business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on monthly basis- Training subordinates to develop requisite skills; conducting trainings on products, selling skills, lead prospecting and closing skillsDesired Skills & Experience - Education & Experience:The role will possess the following qualifications and experience:- Any graduate with Masters degree in Sales/Marketing preferred

Perform other sales, marketing and promotion related activities as and when instructed by the company .. Finding and developing new markets and company.. Training personnel and helping team members in developing their skills.Requirements:.Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field.. 5-10 yrs of experience in sales, marketing or related field.. Strong communication skills.
