They lead pattern makers and sewing technicians to ensure samples meet customer specifications, hit strict deadlines, and minimize fabric waste.Key ResponsibilitiesSample Coordination: Track and manage various sample types, including proto, fit, size sets, and photo-shoot samples.Technical Oversight: Provide expertise in garment construction, pattern making, and measurement charts before sample delivery.Resource Management: Ensure fabrics, trims, and embellishments are sourced and available on time.Quality Control: Conduct rigorous QC checks on finished samples to align with buyer standards and ensure flawless fit and stitching.Buyer Approvals: Communicate sample revisions, arrange dispatches, and secure final buyer sign-offs prior to bulk productionCore RequirementsEducation: Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or Garment Manufacturing.Experience: 1-5 years in a garment or textile sampling department.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of fabric performance, sewing techniques, and pattern making.
