Key Responsibilities1. New Business Acquisition & Territory Mapping (Hunting)Industrial Profiling: Map and profile potential corporate accounts, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive suppliers, and fabrication plants within the target territory.Cold Calling & Field Visits: Conduct high-frequency daily cold calls, site visits, and face-to-face pitch meetings with Purchase Managers, Plant Heads, and Engineering Leads.Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales funnel from initial lead identification and product presentation to price negotiation and final contract closure.2. Techno-Commercial Solutions & EstimationsRequirement Gathering: Visit customer manufacturing sites to analyze engineering drawings, review product dimensions, and understand the client's technical requirements.Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate closely with the internal Design, Production, Tool Room, and Costing teams to check manufacturing feasibility before promising deliveries.Quotations & Bidding: Prepare and present competitive techno-commercial proposals, price estimations, and quotations while ensuring company profit margins are maintained.3. Account Management & Retention (Farming)Relationship Building: Nurture deep, long-term working relationships with existing clients to capture recurring annual orders and maximize customer lifetime value.Post-Sales Liaison: Collaborate with production and logistics teams to track order execution timelines and proactively resolve client issues regarding quality or delivery delays.4. Financial Hygiene & CRM MaintenancePayment Collection: Monitor aging accounts and actively coordinate with client accounts payable departments to ensure timely financial collection and minimize outstanding dues.Sales Reporting: Log daily client feedback, meeting minutes, field trackers, and accurate revenue forecasts into the companys CRM software.
